Senate vote fails again as shutdown becomes one of the longest in US history

๐Ÿค” I'm getting worried about all these politicians playing politics over people's lives ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ. Can't they see that the shutdown is affecting real Americans, not just their own careers ๐Ÿ’ผ? It's like they're stuck in a never-ending cycle of "my way or the highway" ๐Ÿš—.

I think Mike Johnson needs to listen to Marjorie Taylor Greene and her colleagues - if keeping the House closed on an extended recess isn't working, maybe it's time for a change ๐Ÿ”„. And Schumer's shutdown strategy? It feels like he's just digging his own grave ๐Ÿ’€.

What I really want is for these politicians to focus on finding common ground โš–๏ธ instead of trying to outmaneuver each other. Can't they see that the US energy secretary has enough problems dealing with nuclear security without having to worry about furloughed employees ๐Ÿคฏ?

this is getting ridiculous ๐Ÿ˜ฉ...i mean think about it, they've been talking about doing this for like 12 days now and nothing's really changed ๐Ÿค”...the democrats aren't budging and republicans are starting to get cold feet ๐Ÿฅถ...and meanwhile millions of americans are living with the consequences of this shutdown ๐Ÿ“Š... energy workers getting furloughed, national security people on the sidelines...it's just not fair ๐Ÿ‘Ž...can't they find a way to compromise? ๐Ÿค

Ugh, can't believe they're still stuck on this ๐Ÿ™„. I mean, 50-43? Come on, folks! It's not like it's rocket science (although, if it were, Mike Johnson might actually know what he's doing). The whole point of having Congress is to pass laws that help people, right? And yet, they're wasting their time on this shutdown nonsense.

I think the real winners here are the millions of Americans who don't have access to healthcare because of the Affordable Care Act ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. It's not like Schumer has some magic solution to fix everything overnight. And let's be real, if a few hundred more people get furloughed from the Department of Energy, what's it gonna do? Make America great again?

I'm so over this back-and-forth between the parties ๐Ÿ™„. Can't they just work together for once? I mean, what's the difference between 50 and 43 when you're basically running the country into the ground? We need some real leadership around here (and a hint of sanity) ๐Ÿ’ก
