Shows such as Stranger Things and Yellowjackets have become bloated. I’m all for the one-and-done series | Priya Elan

I'm loving the whole "one-and-done" vibe right now! Shows like Sharp Objects and My So-Called Life prove that sometimes, less really is more 🤩. I mean, who needs unnecessary plot twists or filler episodes when you can just wrap up a story with some emotional closure? It's all about preserving that impact for the audience, you know? 💥

I think it's refreshing to see so many fans speaking up about this 🙌. I mean, why fix what ain't broke, right? Some of these shows are perfect just the way they are. You don't need all that extra drama and plot twists to keep you engaged 🤔. And let's be real, sometimes it feels like TV shows are trying too hard to live up to their own hype 📺.

It's also a bit disheartening to see creators relying on AI to replace human writers 💻. I mean, we love technology and all, but there's just something about seeing talented actors bring characters to life that can't be replicated by code 😊.

The "one-and-done" series trend is definitely the way forward 🚀. It takes a lot of courage to know when to stop telling a story, but trust me, it makes all the difference 💥. I mean, who hasn't been invested in a show only to feel like they're being dragged through the mud with extra seasons? 😩 Not me!

I'm so over these shows just dragging on forever 🙄. I mean, if the first season was fire, why fix what ain't broke? It's all about the "one-and-done" approach, you know? Shows like Sharp Objects and My So-Called Life were perfect in their brevity – it made the ending even more impactful!

These bloated shows are just overcomplicating things 🤯. Introducing random characters with no purpose is just lazy writing 🙅‍♂️. Fans invest so much emotional energy into a show, and then you just discard that by extending it for seasons on end.

I think creators need to take a step back and remember when to stop telling the story 🔄. It's not about running out of ideas (although, let's be real, some shows can get stuck in an infinite loop 💭). It's about respecting the audience's time and emotions. Let's see more "one-and-done" series that actually wrap up with a satisfying conclusion 🔜

ugh I'm so over tv shows dragging on forever 🤯 they're just sucking the life out of a good story for the sake of extra cash and ratings 💸 it's like creators are addicted to the thought of getting another season order 😴 my brain can't even handle all these unnecessary plot twists and character introductions 🤪 who needs that many characters in one show?! the less said about AI writers the better 🙅‍♂️ it's like they're trying to replace human hearts with formulas 💔 these shows should just learn from the ones that know when to stop 🚫

idk why ppl r so obsessed w/ 2+ seasons rn 🤔 it's like creators think we'll just keep watchin' out of habit or somethin. yellowjackets had a perfect season and now they're extendin' it for no reason? i mean, what's the point of havin' more episodes if u can't even deliver on the story? shows like squid game r doin this too and it's just frustratin' when u invest time in but the story just falters. u know what would be great tho? creators who actually have a plan for how many seasons their show'll run 🙏
