Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers may have put their recent dust-up behind them, but it seems that the veteran quarterback's teammate is still itching for a rematch. Broderick Jones, the 300-pound tackle who brought down Rodgers during a touchdown celebration last week, appeared to brush off his colleague's anger over the incident on Wednesday.
However, when pressed by reporters about the possibility of another confrontation, Jones dropped a bombshell: he might just go after Rodgers again if he throws a touchdown. "We're still joking about it," Jones said with a grin. "Yeah, he was a little mad, but it's all right. It's football; it gets intense and all." But then added with a wink: "I told him, I'm getting him next. He better watch his back."
Rodgers, 41 and seemingly unfazed by the earlier tussle, claimed that Jones was always the first player to come celebrate with him after a play. The quarterback even texted Jones later to compliment his energy, but reminded him to "be gentle" due to his age.
It seems unlikely that Rodgers will be intimidated by Jones's antics again anytime soon, though. When asked if he planned on keeping an eye out for the tackle in their upcoming matchup against the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers responded with a chuckle: "I'm just focusing on our next game right now."
For now, it looks like the drama surrounding Jones and Rodgers has blown over, but we wouldn't put it past these two to stage another confrontation come Sunday. Will they be able to keep their cool in front of the cameras? Only time will tell.

Broderick Jones is being really reckless thinking he can just go after Rodgers again if hes throws a touchdown!

I wish they would just focus on their games and sportsmanship

i remember back when i was in college, we used to have these epic rivalries between teams and it would get pretty heated, but at least it was all in good fun... not so with these two. Rodgers seems cool as a cucumber tho, but jones's antics are getting old. like, dude, you're 300 pounds of muscle, calm down

Like, dude, calm down and focus on the game. And what's with all these celebrations during games, anyway? Just adding to the drama and tension. I'm sure it'll all blow over when they get tackled (literally
