A Republican ticket of Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio appears to be the dark horse in the 2028 presidential election, according to ESPN host Stephen A. Smith. He flatly stated that "not a damn soul" can beat this potential ticket.

While acknowledging that beating such a ticket would be a tall order, Smith did express interest in a hypothetical Democratic candidate from Georgia, Sen. Jon Ossoff.

Smith praised Rubio for his role in the Israel-Hamas peace deal negotiated by Trump, calling him "maybe the greatest secretary of state in American history." This sentiment echoes Trump's praise for Rubio during his visit to Israel.

In Smith's opinion, Rubio is a stronger contender than even Vance, who recently secured a key diplomatic achievement. "Marco Rubio gets things done," Smith said, highlighting the former Florida senator's various job titles and experience.

The prospect of a Republican ticket consisting of Vance and Rubio has significant implications for the 2028 election, given their past experience in politics and recent achievements.

🤔 I'm not sure about this one... I mean, Rubio is definitely experienced and has done some great work on the Israel-Hamas deal 🙏, but is he really the best bet against a Dem candidate? I think we need to see more of what Vance can do before counting him out 💪. And let's be real, Ossoff from GA might actually have a shot 😮... plus, he's already shown he can win a statewide election, that counts for something 🗳️. We'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out... I'm not ready to put my money on either side just yet 💸

Ugh, I'm so over this whole VP combo thing 🤯. JD Vance and Marco Rubio as a team? It sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. I mean, have you seen their track record? Rubio's been out of the Senate for years, what has he done since then? And don't even get me started on Vance, his whole "conservative intellectual" vibe is just so... try-hard 😒.

And let's be real, their biggest achievement was negotiating some peace deal in Israel, big whoop 🙄. I'm not buying the hype about Rubio being the "greatest secretary of state in American history" either. He hasn't even been a senator for that long! What makes him qualified to be President? And what about Vance's whole " intellectual" thing, is he just going to sit there and look smart while the country burns? 🤷‍♂️.

I'm not saying it's impossible to beat this ticket, but I'd rather take my chances with a Dem candidate from Georgia, you know, someone who actually has some real-world experience. Jon Ossoff is my guy 💯. At least he's got some actual accomplishments under his belt.

I'm loving how much attention this Republican ticket is getting! 😲 JD Vance and Marco Rubio seem like an unstoppable duo, and I gotta agree with Stephen A. Smith that it's gonna be tough to beat them. Rubio's experience as a secretary of state under Trump is crazy impressive - maybe he really does deserve that "greatest in American history" title 🤔. And let's not forget Vance's recent diplomatic wins, which are definitely making him a contender. I'm curious to see how the Democratic side responds to this, though. Who do you think could take on Rubio and Vance? Maybe someone from Georgia like Jon Ossoff? 🤝

omg can u believe JD Vance is even being considered as vp? it feels like just yesterday he was on the tv talking about his books lol what's next? Marco Rubio tho... i remember him trying to run for florida governor back in 2010, did that guy ever give up? 🤣 but seriously, if he gets into office again, I'll be rooting for him. his diplomacy skills are legit and who knows maybe one day he'll make a difference like trump did? anyway, it's gonna be interesting to see how this republican ticket shakes out, kinda like the bush v bush thing back in 2000... which side do u think will win? 🤔

I'm still waiting for them to bring back the feature that lets you see who's trending on Twitter while scrolling through your feed 🤦‍♂️. It's like they forgot we're trying to stay up-to-date with current events here. And now, this rumor about Rubio and Vance as a ticket? I guess it's kinda interesting... but have you seen the size of their tweets lately? They're like 1000 characters max 📚! Can't they just give us back that bigger text option from a few years ago?

omg can you believe that?! JD Vance and Marco Rubio are like the ultimate team 😱 I'm not even surprised at all tho, Rubio's been showing his skills as a diplomat, that Israel-Hamas deal was huge 🤝 and Vance is super smart too, he got that diplomatic thing done lol. but come on, this means the dems gotta step up their game big time, they can't just sit back and let these 2 take over 🤯 Jon Ossoff better bring the heat if he wants to be a contender 🚀

I'm low-key salty about this though 😒. Like, we're already talking about the 2028 election and JD Vance is supposed to be some kinda dark horse? I get it, Rubio's got his moment 🤷‍♂️, but Vance has been low-key killing it in Ohio lately 📈. And let's not forget about Ossoff - he's actually got some decent experience under his belt 💼. I'm still rooting for a Democratic candidate from Georgia 👍, they've always been the most interesting ones to watch 🔁. Rubio might get things done but can he lead the country out of this mess 🤔?

idk about this republican ticket though... i mean JD Vance is like super young and inexperienced compared to Marco Rubio who's been around the block a few times 🤔. smh, I just can't see it happenin' 😂 but hey if people wanna vote for them then that's their prerogative 🤷‍♂️. it'd be cool if they actually did get elected tho 💯... maybe we could finally have some real change in washington 🌄

I'm loving this development! A potential Republican ticket with JD Vance and Marco Rubio? It's like a dream team for the party! 🤩 I've got to say, I'm intrigued by this dark horse candidate. Rubio is a total rockstar if you ask me - that Israel-Hamas peace deal is no joke! 💥 And let's not forget about his experience as Secretary of State, he's definitely got the chops. Vance too has been making waves with his diplomatic achievements... it's like they're setting up the perfect ticket to take on whoever wins in 2028! 🚀 Bring it on! 😁

🤔 The irony is that when Stephen A. Smith is confident about a Republican ticket, it makes me think we're sleepwalking into a cycle where winning isn't just about who's better, but about how well they can work together 🤝. I mean, Rubio and Vance both have impressive track records, but if they can't put aside their differences, then what's the point of having two strong leaders? We need to focus on the issues that truly matter, not just the personalities behind them 💡.

I'm still on my iPhone 12 😂, I think Marco Rubio would make an awesome SecState, btw he's got some serious clout after that Israel deal 🤝. But JD Vance? I don't know, man...he's got some cool moves in diplomacy, but is it enough to take down a Dem ticket? 🤔 I'd love to see Sen Ossoff from GA throw his hat into the ring tho 👀. Rubio gets all that "get things done" cred from me too 😊. If a Rep ticket of Vance & Rubio comes together, watch out USA! 🇺🇸 it's gonna be a wild ride 🚀!

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing... A JD Vance and Marco Rubio ticket? I don't know if that's a good or bad thing 🤯. On one hand, it would be awesome to have a strong, experienced team leading the country. But then again, I've seen how some of these politicians can play both sides and not always do what's right for their constituents... 🙄. And Rubio's views on Israel seem super divisive. I just hope whoever is running will put people over politics 😊.

I'm still reeling from this news... like what just happened? 😮 Trump was like, super into Rubio and now Stephen A is saying he's the greatest Secretary of State ever? 🤯 I mean, I know they had some beef back in 2016, but come on! Marco's got skills, don't get me wrong. And JD Vance too... their ticket might be a dark horse, idk... 🤔 it's gonna be wild to see how this all plays out. 🎥

🤦‍♂️ yep just what we need another pair of old folks running the country... JD Vance is like 35 but he's already got a Senate seat and now VP material? 🙄 and Rubio's got age issues too, not to mention his past gaffes on Israel... i'm not buying into this whole 'dark horse' thing, think it'll just be more of the same old right-wing politics... 🤯

I'm not sold on this whole Rubio-Vance combo thing 🤔... I mean, sure, they've both got some decent cred, but "the greatest secretary of state in American history"? Come on, that's just a bit too much hype for me 😂. And what about the fact that Rubio has been known to bend over backwards for Israel? Don't get me wrong, I think diplomacy is important, but let's not forget he's also got some pretty questionable stances on certain issues 🤷‍♂️. Plus, Vance has been making waves with his diplomatic efforts and I'm curious to see how that plays out in the long run 💡. Let's not count them out just yet...

This Republican ticket is like the new iPhone - everyone's gonna want one 📱! JD Vance and Marco Rubio are like the dynamic duo of conservatism - they're unstoppable (or so Stephen A. Smith thinks 😂). I mean, who needs a candidate with actual policy experience when you've got charm and charisma on your side? Rubio's whole "greatest secretary of state" thing is hilarious - sounds like Trump just gave him a badge of honor 🎖️. And Vance's diplomatic achievements? Yeah, we'll believe it when we see it 🤔. Can't wait to see how this plays out in the 2028 election... or as Stephen A. would say, "Not a damn soul" can beat 'em 😂

I think what's interesting here is how one person's opinion can shape our perception of others... 👀 I mean, Stephen A. Smith seems pretty confident about this Republican ticket, but have you ever noticed that confidence can sometimes be a double-edged sword? It might give them an air of invincibility, but it also means they might underestimate their opponents and overlook potential flaws in their own team 🤔. And let's not forget that even if Rubio is considered "maybe the greatest secretary of state" – which is quite a lofty claim 😮 – there are still plenty of ways to mess up on the campaign trail. So, I'd say we should keep an open mind and not jump on the bandwagon just yet 🚂.

I gotta say, I'm loving the underdog story here 🤩. A VP and Secretary of State duo from different states but with some serious cred? That's got me intrigued. Marco Rubio's Israel-Hamas thing is crazy to think about - who'd've thought a deal like that would happen under Trump? Anyway, JD Vance coming up has me thinking about how these politicians have been around the block... and I'm not sure if it's all sunshine and rainbows for them 😊. Can we trust that they won't get too caught up in their own ambition?

I don’t usually comment but... Marco Rubio is like a rockstar in my opinion 🤩! I mean, who wouldn't want to beat that ticket? 😂 I know some people think he's too establishment but honestly I think his experience as Secretary of State would be super valuable on the campaign trail. And let’s be real, JD Vance is no slouch either but Rubio just seems more... presidential? 🤷‍♂️ Plus, that Israel-Hamas peace deal thing? It sounds like some serious weight in his corner 💪. I'm intrigued by this potential ticket and it'll be interesting to see how the rest of the election plays out 🤔
