I'm telling ya, I think Ford is being super unreasonable about this whole thing... I mean, what's the big deal? It's just Crown Royal . But at the same time, I can see why he'd want to take a stand against Diageo for leaving Ontario and all those jobs lost . Like, don't get me wrong, it's not cool that they're moving operations to Alabama... but maybe Ford could've handled it better? I'm all about Canadian pride and all that, but can we just keep things calm and rational?
Ugh, come on Doug Ford! Can't you just chill and focus on the issues that matter to Ontarians instead of causing drama with your whisky tantrums? It's like, Crown Royal is a staple in Canada and it's not like Diageo is going anywhere, they're just moving their HQ to Alabama... big deal! The fact that you're trying to ban the brand from liquor stores is just petty and gonna hurt a lot of people who love drinking it. And what's with all these consumer boycotts? Can't we just have a drink without all the drama? I'm not sure if Ford has the power to wield the liquor control board or whatever, but this whole thing is just getting out of hand...
