Study finds slightly higher risk of autism diagnosis in areas with more lithium in drinking water, but experts say more research is needed | CNN

idk what u think about dis new study linkin lithium in tap water 2 autism 🤔 but personally i think its kinda obvious. we all know lithium has some benefits 4 mental health and all that, so it's def possible it's got som kinda negative effect too? like, if u r already predisposed 2 ASD or somethin, maybe lithium jus makes it worse? not sure tho 🤷‍♀️

and honestly, i think its a bit weird that experts are bein cautious about causation. like, come on guys, its science! we gotta figure out what's goin on here before we can even start talkin about policy changes 📊. and btw, havent there been other studies linkin environmental factors 2 ASD? like, pesticides and air pollution and phthalates? shouldn't that count fer somethin? 💡

I'm no scientist, but it seems kinda weird that they found a link between drinking water with lithium and autism diagnosis in kids 🤔💦. Like, I get that some people might be more sensitive to things than others, but is it really that simple? 💡 And then there's the thing about all these other environmental factors being linked to ASD too... isn't that kinda what we've been saying all along? 🌎 It's just not that clear-cut. We need more research, I guess 👍
