Tattoo fixers on removing Nazi symbols: 'You don't know if they're changing or hiding'

🤔 I'm not sure how many people actually think this is going to be some kind of solution... like erasing your past just makes everything better? 🙄 I mean, tattoos are a personal thing, and what's the right way to handle them? Covering up or removing them altogether? It's so complex. And what about all the people who get tattoos for non-hateful reasons? Are they going to be penalized because of the actions of others? 😕

🤕 it's crazy how much tattoos can hold weight in someone's life. i mean, think about it - some people get inked on a whim, while others are coerced or even forced into getting a certain design due to their affiliations. its not just about removing the physical mark, but also about facing those emotions head-on. 🤝

i can see how the landscape of hate groups has shifted over time, and that's reflected in the demand for tattoo removal services. it's wild to think that some people are actually okay with these symbols being normalized again 🙅‍♂️. anyway, the fact remains that people like Kate Widener and Lorenzo Diaz are still doing this important work, helping folks find a way out of toxic situations 💖.

sometimes i wonder if we're making progress or just masking the issue with new ink 🤔. but hey, at least we're having these conversations about tattoos, hate symbols, and personal identity. that's something to build on! 💪
