Tell us: have you changed your career plans because of the risk of an AI takeover?

AI is definitely gonna change the game, but some people are getting it wrong 🤔. Upskilling and reskilling is great, but it's not all about grabbing the latest tech skills and hoping for the best. We need more practical support and resources for those who want to make a real career pivot. I mean, retraining programs should be more than just online courses - they should include actual work experience and mentorship. And what about those who don't have the means or connections to access these opportunities? 🤑

AI is gonna be EVERYTHING!!! 🤖 I'm low-key freaking out for my future though, like what if AI takes over all my skills? 🤔 I need to upskill ASAP! 🚀 Have been looking into coding and web dev, but it's like, so much to learn 📚. Some of my friends are already making sick money in the field tho 💸, so that's giving me hope 🤞. We gotta ride this wave of tech advancements together 💪!

AI's impact on our careers is like, super worrying 🤯. I've seen some of my friends who were super passionate about their jobs get all uncertain about it. They're worried that AI will replace them, you know? It's not just the tech aspect, but how we'll be working alongside machines and if that takes away from human connection.

I feel like we need to upskill, for sure 📚. I've been doing some online courses and whatnot, trying to stay ahead of the curve. But it's not always easy, especially when you're in your 50s or whatever 😅. You gotta navigate new job markets and stuff, which can be super overwhelming.

I think it's cool that there are people who are all about finding that balance between human creativity and AI capabilities 🤖. That's like the future right? But for some of us, it's just too much to handle. I mean, I've had friends who were so passionate about their jobs, but then they realized it was basically a robot job anyway 😂.

It's time for us to support each other, you know? The ones who are struggling and the ones who are adapting. We need to have that conversation, figure out how we're gonna make this work 🤝.

🤔 It's wild to think that half our jobs might be at risk due to AI. For me, it's not about AI itself, but how we work together with it. We need to find ways to make humans and tech synergize so everyone benefits 🚀. I've got a friend who went from being an expert in graphic design to becoming a UX designer, focusing on human-centered design that leverages AI capabilities. It's not about replacing people, but augmenting our skills to be more efficient and effective 💻.

I think we need to rethink what we consider 'work' and 'success'. We can't just focus on making money; it's also about personal fulfillment and creating value 🌟. If you're considering a career change or upskilling, start by identifying what you love doing and how tech can help you do it better 💡. And to those feeling uncertain, remember that change is scary, but it can also be an opportunity for growth 🌱.
