This is getting crazy in Portland! I feel so bad for the people living there, having to deal with all this unrest and tension. As someone who cares about mindfulness and staying calm under pressure, it's like, can't we just find a way to communicate and understand each other? 
But at the same time, I get why the protesters are upset - those ICE tactics do sound super unfair and discriminatory. It's like, how can we expect people to trust law enforcement when they're being targeted in this way? 
And meanwhile, the National Guard is just adding fuel to the fire... it's like, what's next? 
I mean, can't these people see that their tactics are just fueling the fire? And what's with the Supreme Court ruling? Another example of how the system is rigged against us

On one hand, I get why people are upset about ICE's tactics - it does sound pretty suspect to me. But at the same time, I can see both sides of the argument. It's like, you want to protect the officers, but you also don't want to let them just come in here and be all discriminatory 
I mean, I'm not taking sides or anything (obvs), but it's just... so much. Can't we all just get along?

. We need more transparency, not more tension

I guess it's all pretty complex and messy right now...
that's a whole different story. I'm all for peaceful protests, though. We should be able to express ourselves without fear of arrest or violence. So yeah, I guess I'm split on this one...
