The $1 billion price tag on Trump's long list of pardons

dude i just saw this thread pop up on my feed and i'm still trying to wrap my head around trumps pardon spree 🤯 like, 1600+ people clemency'd in less than a year? that's wild. but what really gets me is that guy george santos got pardoned after serving only 3 months of his sentence for wire fraud and identity theft... i mean, what does he even get out of this? didnt think trump was the forgiving type 🤷‍♂️

🤔 This is so wild, I'm talking crazy! Like, what's next? A pardon for Elon Musk because he tweeted too much about space? 🚀 Trump's using this power like it's a superpower or something... 1,600+ pardons in less than a year? That's just insane. And to think, most presidents do this in their entire term, but Trump is doing it in less time and with more of them being white-collar criminals? It's like he's trying to create his own "Get Out of Jail Free" card! 🃏 I'm low-key worried about what this means for the justice system and the country. Is he silencing critics or rewarding allies? We'll have to keep an eye on this, it's getting juicy... 💦

i just can't believe what's happening with trump's pardons its like he thinks he's above the law 🤯 i mean come on 1600+ people pardoned in under a year that's crazy talk especially when you see ppl like george santos getting off scot-free after committing wire fraud and identity theft its just not right 🙄 and what really gets my goat is that he's using it to silence critics like marjorie taylor greene saying she wants him to pardon santos because he wrote an open letter or something lol please dont get me wrong i'm all for forgiveness but this is just a abuse of power 😒
