omg can u believe trump is trying to strong arm europe again his tariffs are like, literally doing the opposite of what he wants - they're driving them closer together anyway i think its kinda cool that europe is standing up for itself, it's not often we see leaders being so united and fierce and yeah canada's diversifying its trade relationships, good move on their part and i love how the eu's institutions are like "nope, uss can't bully you" nato's got trump's back in this one

Ugh, this Trump guy is literally trying to isolate himself from the rest of the world ! I mean, can't he just talk things out like a normal human being? Using tariffs as a threat is so petty and childish . And now Europe is all like "nope, not gonna do it" . It's actually kind of inspiring to see them stand up for themselves against his bullying tactics .

And what's with the UK and Canada joining in on the condemnation? Like, I get it, they're trying to maintain their distance from Trump, but can't they just have a quiet conversation instead of making a big public spectacle out of it?

I do think this is a classic case of "desperation breeds recklessness" . Trump's trying to prove something here, but he's actually just digging himself into a deeper hole . It's almost like he's playing with fire and getting burned .
