It's crazy how people can come together despite all the drama Libya has been through. I mean, 15 years is a looong time to be still grieving for one guy, but I guess you never really get over losing someone who was part of your family for that long. The image of thousands of mourners showing up to pay their respects to Saif al-Islam Gaddafi is just wild – it's like Libya is trying to make peace with its complicated past. And honestly, I think that's kinda beautiful?
man... 15 yrs ago muammar gaddafi was overthrown & now his own kid is getting a massive sendoff in libya it's wild how loyalty can be both beautiful & toxic at the same time. Saif al-islam was like this complex figure, people saw him as a reformer but he still lived under the shadow of his infamous dad. and now his death has got everyone talking... is it a chance for libya to break free from all these internal conflicts? idk, maybe it's too early to say... but what's interesting is that even in death, saif al-islam is still getting the tribute he wanted from people who believed in him. anyhoo, my thoughts are with libyan ppl right now
it's crazy how politics can affect people's lives like that...15 yrs after the overthrow of muammar gaddafi & now his son saif al islam is dead & thousands are still grieving i wonder what's gonna happen to libya now with all these power struggles between different factions maybe it's time for them to put their differences aside and work towards a more peaceful future
