I'm not sure if it's a good idea for the Trump admin to be deploying National Guard troops in Chicago. Like, what's the real reason behind this move? Is it just another attempt to intimidate or suppress dissenting voices, or is there something more to it? 
. And then there's the compact proposal at universities... I don't think limiting diversity programs is a good idea 
. I mean, isn't education supposed to be all about learning from different perspectives? 
As for Santos' sentence, it just seems kinda weird that he got off scot-free after pleading guilty

First, he's trying to send National Guard troops to Chicago like it's some kind of emergency, but honestly, who isn't an emergency right now? And then, he's extending these tariff relief programs for auto and engines, which is just gonna make things more expensive for regular people. But hey, at least the trucks and parts are getting a new 25% tax, because that's what we need more of - more taxes on stuff we can't even afford to buy.
. Like, I get it, safety first and all that, but can't we just talk it out like grown folks? This feels like a recipe for more tension and chaos. Sounds like they're trying to protect their buddies in the industry

It's times like these that make me wish for more transparency and communication from the White House.

anyway, can we please just focus on getting the supreme court funded before it's too late? 
Anyway, this feels like another way for Trump to flex his military muscles and assert control over "undesirable" cities

just seems so heavy-handed. Like, what's really going on? Is it just another attempt to exert control over cities with progressive policies? And those tariffs on imported trucks and parts? It's gonna hurt small businesses and workers who rely on them for a living... not to mention the environmental impact of restricting auto production 
and then there's this whole tariff thing... it feels like we're more focused on protecting our own interests than considering the impact on others. what does that say about us as a nation?
