omg this is so shady what's the point of trying to take away food assistance from people who are already struggling? 
it's like they're trying to make life even harder for those who need it most i feel bad for all the ppl who are gonna lose eligibility for snap its not right that immigrants have to jump through hoops just to get the same benefits as everyone else

I'm really concerned about this new US Department of Agriculture guidance. It seems like they're trying to make it super hard for people who are already struggling to get by to access food assistance. I've lived in California for years, and I know how tough it can be to afford basic necessities, let alone healthy food. This kind of thing just feels like a kick in the gut.
