omg cant believe she got away with only 4 yrs, i mean i know she duped ppl outta a ton of cash but 4 yrs seems pretty lax considering how many lives she ruined

i feel so bad for johnathan walton, he put himself out there big time to expose her crimes & this is the thanks he gets? all that blood, sweat & tears & justice is served with a slap on the wrist

what's really interesting is how many people are unaware of the full extent of mair Smyth's scams...johnathan walton did an amazing job shedding light on this, we should be giving him props not just for his work but also for holding her accountable

i dont think it's fair to say leniency when its the court that imposed the sentence according to law & guidelines...but yeah, 4 yrs does seem like a pretty soft sentence considering the severity of her crimes

im so glad the police detective constable is sending out a message that scamming innocent ppl wont be tolerated but at what cost? this whole situation is so frustrating & unfair for johnathan walton & his victims
