80% of Iranian women are denied access to education due to laws requiring full hijab coverage, which increases their risk of being targeted by thugs like this guy . And get this, the average IQ score for Iranian men is around 100 , but that doesn't excuse his behavior! The 50-60% of Iranian women who refuse to wear the hijab are more likely to be victims of harassment & assault - we need better policies in place to protect them . And did you know, Shandiz has seen a 200% increase in hate crimes against unveiled women since the government relaxed its enforcement on modest dress codes ? The Iranian government needs to step up & take action before more innocent lives are lost .
I mean come on, who pulls a prank like that?! Grabbing yogurt from a store and hurling it at two people? It's not even funny anymore . They're just trying to provoke an reaction or get attention. The fact that they targeted these women because of their attire is super annoying . I don't think it's okay for people to act like this, but can we talk about how the store staff handled it? They stepped in quickly and removed the guy from the premises... pretty standard security protocol . But seriously, why do some people feel the need to be so aggressive all the time? Can't they just chill out ?
I'm still getting the chills thinking about that video... it's just so sad and scary for those two women. You know, back in the day, we had some pretty rough stuff go down too, like in the 90s when there was that whole internet cafe riot thing... but at least this time it got caught on camera and people are talking about it. I guess it's a good thing the store staff stepped in to stop the guy before things escalated further. It's just frustrating because you'd think we're all grown up by now, but it seems like there's still so much work to be done when it comes to equality and respect for women...
this is getting old... another case of some dude being a total psycho over two girls who dared to not cover themselves up . like, what's the issue here? it's not like they're walking around with their pants down or something . and yogurt as a projectile? that's just sad . i mean, i guess if you're gonna do something stupid, make it a little more dramatic, right? . seriously though, this is just another example of how women in Iran are still living under the microscope and have to be constantly "careful" about their attire . hope these girls are okay after that freaky outburst .
just saw this video and i'm still shaking my head. whoever thought it was a good idea to throw yogurt at two girls who were just minding their own business in a store is seriously messed up . like, what even is the point of that? and i don't get why no one said anything before he attacked them... did they really have to wear unveiled clothes just to provoke some psycho into throwing yogurt? seriously though, how are we supposed to condemn this behavior without acknowledging the deeper issues at play here? like, why do these girls still get targeted for wearing their hair loose in public? is it even possible to address these kinds of incidents in a meaningful way when there's such blatant disregard for basic human rights?
