... like, what even is the point of being a man if you're gonna resort to hurling yogurt at people for not wearing hijab? It's just another example of how this ridiculous dress code is creating more problems than it's solving. And that the women were unveiled in the first place, just trying to live their lives... it's like they have no control over what's happening to them. 
And what's with all these CCTV cameras everywhere? Are we really gonna rely on technology to 'protect' us from people being jerks? It feels like a band-aid solution to me... we need to address the root issues, not just mask them with surveillance and police presence...

and I'm so disappointed that this still happens in 2025, we're supposed to be living in a more progressive society. And the fact that these women were unveiled and therefore targeted is just another example of how patriarchal and discriminatory Iranian society can be 
. It's not about freedom of choice or personal style, it's about controlling people's bodies and behavior. We need to do more to raise awareness and support for women who are being oppressed in Iran 
i mean i get that they have a different culture and all but thats no excuse for violence or discrimination towards others...like if ur gonna be mad about somethin, pick something else to get angry over
