but at the same time...I don't know how I feel about it 
. On one hand, those two women were attacked for wearing Western-style clothing in public which is like, totally unacceptable 
. I mean, who does that? But on the other hand, isn't Iran trying to modernize and all that? 
And wasn't there a law passed recently to allow women more freedom of choice with their clothes? 
I don't know...it just feels so complicated 
. And what's with the term "patriarchal norms"? Isn't that like, a bit too PC for its own good? 
Can't we just say it's a problem and leave it at that? 
Anyway, I hope those two women are okay 
and that whoever did this stuff gets caught

I mean, come on, Iran has some crazy stuff going on but this is just ridiculous. Two women get attacked because they're wearing 'forbidden' clothing and now everyone's all like "oh no, human rights are being trampled"

. I don't think it's fair to say that all Iranian men are misogynistic or anything, but at the same time... I mean, the fact that this guy went to attack two women just because they didn't conform is pretty shocking

seriously though, its kinda sad that women in Iran have to worry about this kind of thing but at the same time, isnt it also a sign of how liberated they're becoming by wearing western-style clothes?
