Virginian-born socialite Virginia Giuffre had feared for her life, fearing that she might "die a sex slave" at the hands of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his network of powerful associates.

According to her forthcoming memoir 'Nobody's Girl', Ms Giuffre was forced into sex trafficking by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, who has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for sex-trafficking charges. The memoir paints a picture of the web of wealthy and influential individuals involved in this abuse.

Ms Giuffre recounts her alleged encounters with Prince Andrew on three separate occasions. She also reveals that she was paid $15,000 for each time she had sex with Epstein, who used his wealth to entice young girls like herself into a cycle of abuse.

Epstein died while awaiting trial on charges related to the abuse of underage girls. The BBC has acquired an advance copy of Ms Giuffre's memoir and will publish it later this week.

A Buckingham Palace source confirmed that Prince Andrew is under scrutiny, as he faces allegations of sexual misconduct with Ms Giuffre in his memoir.

Meanwhile, calls are growing for the removal of Prince Andrew's royal titles amid public outcry over the alleged abuse.

This story is so shocking and heartbreaking... poor Virginia Giuffre, she's been through so much. I'm really concerned about Prince Andrew too, if these allegations are true, it's a huge betrayal of trust and he needs to take responsibility for his actions. The fact that Ghislaine Maxwell got away with this for so long is disturbing. And Epstein's network was like a dark web of powerful people who thought they were above the law... it's disgusting.

I'm not surprised by the public outcry, though. This kind of abuse needs to be exposed and confronted. It's time for accountability, especially from those in positions of power. I'm so appalled by the stories coming out about Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew's involvement in sex trafficking. I'm really worried about the people affected by Epstein's abuse - they've been through so much trauma... It's like, you'd think that with all the power and influence, someone would have stepped in to stop him years ago. And now it's like a big ol' mess with Prince Andrew at the center of it, trying to distance himself but I don't know how much damage control can really fix this... Ugh ... just reading about Virginia Giuffre's alleged sex trafficking by Epstein and Maxwell is giving me nightmares . It's so sad that she was made to feel like a sex slave, having to pay $15k for each encounter with Epstein . And now Prince Andrew's name is getting dragged through the mud too... 20 yrs in prison isn't enough for Ghislaine Maxwell, but at least she's finally facing justice .
