What to know about Trump's "Board of Peace" as world leaders sign founding charter in Davos

omg is this for real so trump's trying to create some kinda world peace org? i'm lowkey skeptical lol what's next, a global police force or something? i get that he wants to push for intl cooperation but gotta wonder why russia & belarus are on the invite list considering they're like total opposites of what peace looks like

I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS NEW DEVELOPMENT, BUT AT THE SAME TIME I'M LIKE REALLY CURIOUS ABOUT HOW IT'S ALL GOING TO PLAY OUT . I MEAN, ON ONE HAND YOU GOT THE PRESIDENT TALKING ABOUT GLOBAL ISSUES AND international COOPERATION, WHICH IS PRETTY COOL . BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, THERE ARE SO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW THIS BOARD IS GOING TO WORK IN PRACTICE . LIKE, WHO'S GOING TO BE ON IT, WHY AM I INVITED, WHAT'S THE PLAN FOR FINANCING IT? IT ALL SEEMS REALLY SHAKY . BUT AT THE SAME TIME, I DO THINK IT COULD BE KIND OF COOL IF THEY CAN MAKE IT WORK AND ACTUALLY HELP OUT . Fingers crossed that it doesn't turn into some kind of POWER STRUGGLE .

idk why ppl r so skeptical about this new "board" thingy... i think it's dope that Prez Trump is trying to bring world leaders together for peace & stuff. it's not like he's gonna use all that cash to, like, fund his own ego or anything . and btw, having Russia & Belarus on the board might seem weird at first, but maybe they can help broker some serious conflicts? also, the fact that they're using UN resources & keeping salaries super low is pretty cool i'm all for transparency & accountability in gov... let's give Prez Trump a chance to prove it works

I'm low-key suspicious about this "Board of Peace" thingy . It sounds like a way for Trump to exert control over global politics, you feel? I'm not sure about this whole "Board of Peace" thing... seems like another one of Trump's grand plans that might not quite come together as he hopes . The fact that Russia and Belarus are on the board, considering they're in the middle of conflicts with Ukraine, raises some serious red flags . I mean, how is that supposed to contribute to peace? And what's with all these high-profile figures on the board? Is this just another way for Trump to network and boost his ego ? The White House claims it'll be transparent and accountable, but we've seen plenty of promises like that before... let's see some actual progress here .

I THINK IT'S CRAZY THAT THEY'RE TRYING TO CREATE A NEW GLOBAL BODY FOR PEACE WITHOUT REALLY DEFINING WHAT THAT MEANS! I mean, we've got a bunch of rich folks like TONY BLAIR AND MARC ROWAN on this board, but how's that gonna make a difference? And what about the countries that didn't get invited to join? Are they just gonna be left out in the cold?

AND LET'S NOT FORGET ABOUT THE FUNDING! If we're talking about rebuilding Gaza, where's all that money coming from?! Is it just gonna magically appear?! I don't think so. We need more transparency and accountability on this one.

I'm also kinda curious about the whole "safety future for the world" thing... how does that even work? Are they planning on solving global issues like climate change, poverty, or inequality with a few fancy meetings and some pie-in-the-sky goals?! I don't think so. We need real solutions, not just empty promises.
