White House begins demolishing part of East Wing for Trump ballroom

😬 I'm kinda worried about this new ballroom thing... I get why they want to modernize and make it more event-friendly, but $250m seems like a lot for just an extra space 🤑. And what's up with the secrecy around who's paying for it? Transparency is key, especially when it comes to historical preservation 🤝. I'm all for some updates, but let's not lose sight of what makes the East Wing so special in the first place 😊. The drawings of gold chandeliers and big seating areas sound fancy, but at what cost? Can't we find a way to make it work without messing with the original structure? 🤔

omg u guys can't believe what's happening!!! they're literally tearing down part of the white house to make way for a $250m ballroom 🤯 i mean i get it trump wants to throw some parties but come on this is like totally historic and stuff!!!!1! 😱 what if ppl don't wanna see the east wing anymore cuz it's all changed out?????!! we need 2 know whos paying 4 this thing and how much it's gonna cost 🤑👀

Ugh, this is just getting crazy 🤯! The White House is basically getting a fancy new wing without anyone knowing who's footing the bill 🤑. I mean, 250 million bucks for a ballroom? It's like they're trying to make it sound like some lavish royal palace or something 👑. And what really gets my goat is that there's no transparency about this whole project 🤐. The fact that they're tearing down parts of the East Wing without an extensive review process is just shady 😒. I get that presidents want to leave their mark, but can't we at least have some kind of discussion about it before it gets done? It feels like they're just making this up as they go along 🚧.
