It seems like no matter what we do, there's always another site popping up somewhere, putting innocent people at risk. The numbers are crazy - 18,000 existing sites and over 3,500 new ones being developed?!
We need to take action NOW before it's too late. The fact that entire communities and indigenous territories are under threat just breaks my heart. It's like we're playing with people's lives here. And I know I'm not alone in thinking this - over 80% of people worldwide demand stronger action on the climate crisis! We need world leaders to take concrete steps towards phasing out fossil fuels once and for all.
It's time to stop treating symptoms and turn off that tap... I mean, let's really make a change here.
