I'm feeling super frustrated about all these mass shootings

and it's crazy that corporate America is being so quiet about it

. I mean, they've been pretty vocal about other issues like climate change and social justice, but suddenly gun control becomes a mute topic? It just doesn't add up. They're saying they care about the public health crisis, but where are the actions?
I think Yale prof Jeffrey Sonnenfeld hits the nail on the head when he says corporate America is more interested in being part of a "chorus" rather than taking concrete action

. But what's the point of having a chorus if no one's singing loudly enough to make a difference? We need CEOs and big business to step up and use their influence to push for real change, not just be part of the status quo

.
And don't even get me started on Tesla's sales numbers

. If Elon Musk is claiming that demand for his lower-priced cars is strong, why isn't that translating into actual sales? It just highlights how hard it is to make a meaningful impact when corporations are more focused on profit than people

. We need to hold them accountable and push for change, not just sit back and wait for them to do the right thing

.
