it's like they want to be seen as social justice warriors without putting their money where their mouth is

just had this thought - corporate america is super loud about social issues but gun control is like a weird silence 
dont get me wrong, they have been making strides in advocating for gun control but now that we are seeing more mass shootings, its like their voices are muted 
why cant they be more vocal about it when its literally killing people? 
corporate america is like "omg gun control is a public health crisis" but then they're all quiet when it comes down to actually doing something about it
