🤔 i was reading an old thread about gaza last year and people were saying the same thing - if there's ever gonna be peace in that region it'll have to start with a real ceasefire. these prisoner releases are just a drop in the ocean compared to all the ppl who've lost loved ones or homes over the years 🌎

i feel bad for david, an israeli guy interviewed in this article - his family was affected by the conflict too, so i guess it's good that ppl like him are speaking out about their hopes and fears. but at the same time, isn't he a bit biased towards one side? 🤷‍♂️

anyway, 1968 prisoners is still a huge number - what if these ppl can't go back to their normal lives or something? will they have to stay in refugee camps forever? 🤝
