We are living in a time of polycrisis. If you feel trapped – you're not alone

man I'm like totally feeling this anxiety thing 🤯 it's like the world is just moving too fast and we're all stuck in neutral. I mean, have you seen the news lately? it's like a never-ending stream of bad news and no clear direction on how to stop it. but at the same time, I think Dr. Himmelstein makes some really valid points - we need to focus on what we can control, like our own reactions to these crises, rather than getting caught up in all the uncertainty 🤝

and you know what's wild? I was just watching an old video of people during the Great Plague and they were all like "oh no, this is so bad" but then they'd go back to their daily lives and be like "okay, things will get better". it's like we're stuck in this perpetual state of crisis mode 🤯. anyway, I think Dr. Gilbert's quote about us being resilient species is really true - we've been through tough times before and come out the other side.

anyway, I'm gonna try to focus on the present moment and not get too caught up in all the uncertainty 😅. has anyone else found any good coping mechanisms for this kind of thing? 🤔

🌐 i think its crazy how we're trying to plan for the future when the world is literally falling apart right now 🤯. like, our brains are wired for short-term thinking, but what if we can learn to be more resilient? 🤔 instead of focusing on the unknowns, we should focus on what we can control in this moment. and honestly, im inspired by how different cultures coped with uncertainty in the past - like those greeks who turned to history for comfort 📚 and those europeans who invested in new universities during a time of crisis 🤓. maybe its time for us to do something similar? 💡

OMG ugh 🤯 I'm literally feeling so anxious about all these crises happening at once it's like my brain is gonna explode 🤯!! but then i was reading this article and i realized that we gotta shift our focus from the uncertainty of the future to coping with it 💡 like, yeah we can't control everything but we can control how we react to it 😌 so lets just take a deep breath and focus on what we can do in the present moment 🙏 and btw did u hear about those new apps that help u manage anxiety? i heard they're pretty cool 🤔
